May 2011 Tow Bar Installation

Following Imp Ecosse got down to a number of jobs that have been hanging about. Flushed out radiator and heating pipes, Tow Bar and electrics fitted, Dynamo converted to Alternator

Fell foul of ebay on this bought the tow bar, after being promised it fitted with the bumper without drilling, it didnt even fit properly, couldnt support its own weight let alone a trailer, guess what seller did not want to discuss it. :-(

After a fair bit of modification and fabrication added 4 extra bolts and stopped over turning. But still cant have the bumper.

Wiring up the electrics

Testing showed that the original flasher unit was not large enough to operate three indicators so that was upgraded and all fine
